The neighbourhood’s close proximity to the downtown core, Pearson Airport, and parks have made High Park North a desirable neighbourhood for everyone from young professionals and singles to families and mature couples. Families with young children will appreciate having the area’s alternative schools and high-ranking high schools right in their own backyards.

Living in High Park North makes it easy to enjoy the outdoors and stay active at any age. Keele Public School has swimming lessons as part of the school curriculum, and there’s plenty to do at High Park itself, just minutes away for everyone to enjoy.

With a petting zoo, a new splash pad, playgrounds, hiking or biking trails, open park space, and more, High Park is the go-to spot in High Park North for family-friendly fun. You can take the train ride around the park, marvel at the cherry blossoms when they bloom in the spring, and stop for a bite to eat at the park’s Grenadier Café.
Children and adults can also learn more about the local nature and environment at the High Park Nature centre, which hosts nature walks, workshops, and other events throughout the year.
In the winter, we recommend bundling up, grabbing some hot chocolate, and heading over to Lithuania Park to toboggan down the popular hill there.
