Dale Cadeau

Client Relationship Manager

Dale Cadeau is currently in the role of Client Relationship Manager for the Red Square Team.  With her perceptive and resourceful nature, Dale excels at anticipating client needs, responding swiftly, and equipping the team with the necessary tools to ensure the highest level of success in property transitions and transactions.

In her previous roles as a Buyer and later as a Business Operations Manager at a high-tech company, Dale honed her skills in managing multiple projects, negotiating contracts, and working with various clients simultaneously to meet their needs.  She took a break from her hi-tech career to raise her three children in Bloor West Village with her husband. During this time, she has been actively involved in her children’s school, serving as the Chair of the Parent Council, and has leveraged her business skills to benefit the community through volunteer work.

Dale thrives on direct customer interaction, understanding client requirements, and collaborating to achieve mutually beneficial solutions. She is renowned for her warm personality, positive attitude, and boundless energy.  She currently works on Marketing content for listings, as well as handling event planning.  Her detail-oriented nature is a win-win for our team!  She is quick to pivot and adapt to last-minute tasks and she can honestly say that no two days are ever alike!

Dale’s contributions significantly enhance the unique synergy and strong presence of the Red Square Team in the west end real estate market.

We asked Dale some questions about her career choice & lifestyle; take a read!

  1. Experience and Background
    • How long have you been working in real estate? I have been in Real Estate since 2017, but have done Property Management for more than 20 years
    • What attracted you to this career?  I love assisting with clients, getting to know them, and being a great support in the buying/selling process.
    • Can you tell me about your experience in the local market, especially with properties similar to the ones I’m interested in?  I live, work, and play in the west end of the city.  Ask me about the best cafes, fun parks, community centres etc.  I’ve seen most of them after being here for over a decade!
  2. Communication Style
    • How do you prefer to communicate (phone, email, text)? Text is the most effective; I could be on a call or in a meeting, but a text is easy to glance at and respond to.
    • How often will you update me on new listings and developments?  We can get you set you up so you get live updates; so that could be several times a day.  Timing is everything in this market, so you need to be ready to view and make an offer when your perfect home comes up.
    • What is your response time for questions or concerns?  I would say during office hours, please give me an hour or so, and after hours/weekends, it could be 2+ hours.  If it is time-sensitive, I would respond immediately.
  3. Working Style and Approach
    • Can you describe your approach to helping clients buy/sell a home?  Currently I assist our team founder, Gillian Ritchie with clients as needed.  I familiarize myself with the listing property so that all key features can be highlighted when I prepare the marketing material.
    • How do you handle situations where there are disagreements or challenges during the buying/selling process?  I have a very calm temperament and remain cool under pressure.
    • What do you expect from your clients in terms of involvement and communication?  Regular check-ins are essential; Gillian is great at putting a detailed plan together so that the team knows what is happening at all times.  No gatekeeping here!
  4. Availability and Commitment
    • How many clients are you currently working with?  I work with clients as needed.
    • Will you be handling all aspects of my transaction, or do you work with a team?  I work on a team, but for the most part, I support Gillian with some of her clients.
    • Are you available on weekends and evenings if needed?  Yes!  This business never sleeeps!  LOL!  We are available as needed on the weekends.  We also run community events, often in the evenings, or weekends.
  5. Knowledge and Resources
    • What tools or resources do you use to stay updated on the market and new listings?  There is no shortage of sources for valuable information, whether it’s chatting with industry professionals, attending seminars, office and team meetings.
    • Can you provide references from past clients? Absolutely.  We continually receive great testimonials from our clients and would be happy to share a few with you.
    • How do you stay informed about changes in real estate laws and market trends?  We get informed on a regular basis, and usually there are seminars/training offered to us as needed so that we stay on top of the latest requirements.

    • Can you share a success story where you helped a client find their perfect home? N/A
    • What has been one of your most challenging transactions, and how did you handle it? N/A
  7. Personal Interests and Values
    • What do you enjoy most about being a Client Relationship Manager?   I love that no two days are alike so I never get bored.  I love the thrill of meeting new clients, and working hard to support them.
    • How do you balance work and personal life?  I spent many years at home raising a family, then eased into part-time work in Real Estate which has been a good balance so far.
    • What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?  I enjoy travel, connecting with friends, and doing charity work.  Charity work fulfills my soul.
